Very busy week trying to hunt down marketing programs that will virtually automate lead generation. Every marketers dream!

I'm very fortunate to have found this product that will help me market my products very effeciently.

It's a piece of hi tech soft ware, the likes of that you only dream about.

I'm in there now, learning how to get my first campaign out.

It cost's a bit, but so does advertising...try PPClick at $1 to $50 a click...(not a sale) and it takes about 100 clicks to get a sale.
Say you paid just a dollar a click...for 20 sales you would need about 2,000 clicks, costing $2,000!
Sell 20 of your product at $10 for $200 return and you have a loss of $1,800 dollars!
So you can see you'd have to have a high ticket priced item to sell to make a positive ROI with Pay Per Click.

With this tool you will never need spend more than a few dollars ($20 actually) to get 2000 leads who have requested info for you to market to!
2000 leads at 1% conversion =20 or so sales.

If your product was $10.00 and you did 20 sales, you would receive $200, minus $20 to generate the leads and you have $180.00 profit...a whopping 900% ROI!

You asked how did I react to the Engagement news...
I think it's wonderful.
I watched the official news press release.
Prince William is a lot more spiritually aware than even I was aware of.
He kept encouraging Kate, patted her on the knee at times and gave her so much back up, I was very encouraged by the depth of concern he shows for her.
I'm sure that this marriage will endure with the attitudes shown by both Prince William and Kate..
Dianna did a good job with her boys and it's sad she is not with us to see the "day of days" for this lovely young man, destined to be King.

Pieces of the puzzle coming together

Exciting things are happening now.

Can actually see how the big picture all fits together...
As a house builder, I guess that's par for the course!
I could never get this idea of just "throwing mud at the wall to see what stuck"...

Didn't make sense to me.

That seemed like tossing up a pile of bricks, studs, roof tiles and concrete, hoping it would come down right way up, as a house!

That's how difficult the internet has been for me to get a handle on.

Not been very well this week...it seems to take me about 7-10 days to get back in rhythm after being away. The trip up and back from/to Rocky, all up over 1800 klms, must take it out of an oldie.
I think it may have been getting caught in 2 massive and very scary electrical, rain and thunder storms that really finished me off on the 40 klm trip home from the railway station by car.

We have had huge 40 year floods here in Qld this past week, not a pretty site with homes washed out and others going completely under water.

Almost back into full swing yesterday after spending days cleaning out my old emails, trying to focus and generally fretting about not being able to concentrate again on my quest!

This is it folks.
I have set myself a 100 day challenge now, to complete this cycle of learning and doing and actually getting income regularly, at last.

Can see how it all works, what's needed and how to do it all now. Wow, it took over 2 and a half years though!

They say 5,000 hours of input until you earn a basic wage online (unless you hire a coach and then it only takes a few months, as you follow their path...shucks, that's more than worth it if you have the cash to pay for it)...

The time is almost spot on too. I'm coming up now to around 4,000 hours...can't be too far away!

Plus I met a techie nerd last week who turns out has lived within 1 klm of me for the past 10 years.

We've known of each other from a distance for over 12-14 years! Amazing.

We're meeting again next week to discuss setting up our Seminars...
He's a speaker, I'm an organizer and he has a few famous speakers lined up.
Hope we can get it up and going. I love the Seminar Circuit!

Just got back from almost a week away!
Wow...time flies.
Learned how to grow herbs, lettuce, spring onions and a hundred other things in hydroponics.
My sister-in-law grows everything in hydroponics in stones!

Sort of fixed up my book and sold a copy to a friend to get all those payment links working at last and will soon get it up on Amazon...tried last week for hours and lost all the sign up process.

It took hours to write an author bio, a book description and so on and then when it said publish, after checking 1,000 times, almost, it disappeared into the ether!
My session on Amazon had timed out...drat it!

Well, I'd better get going with this quest of mine again.

I will have to take my book down again as I found 4 typos in the first half of it!
Can you believe how the Universe protects you?
If I'd been able to get it on Amazon, I'd be losing credibility from the typos!

I'll also make 4 Guides out of the 111 pages and add a bit more info to make each guide about 30 pages and sell them for $7 each. Have to do that in the next few weeks too.

Got The Green Light!

Back from my visit to see my dead brother's wife and family in Rockhampton, about 700 kms away.
She is an expert herb grower and has so many herbs growing everywhere, it's amazing.
She grows everything in hydroponics in stones!

Well, I'd better get going with this quest again.
Oh...I sold a copy of my book after fixing the links.
It was so fun seeing Paypal say..."You have Funds"...or whatever it said.
I should photograph that email & pin it up on my cork board!

I want to take the book down as I found 4 typos in the first half of it and fix it and put it on Amazon to sell it on autopilot.
Then I'll complete the upload of the 4 Guides from the book and add a bit more info to make each guide about 30 pages for $7 each & do that this week.
Next week I want to launch the new Membership site on Beta testing for a few months & then everything should be "Go"!

Have a lot to do, so I have to go...

An Unexpected Stop Sign!

Looks like some link somewhere did not work properly when I sent out my book for people to buy last week.
Checking it out now...
Have a friend who is going to help me to-day, so we should find the weak spot and fix it.

Interesting though, I found a couple of Typos that escaped the 27 edits and spell checks before I launched the book last week, so probably, the delay has benefits.

Also, an expert on reports v/s books, suggested I split my book into 4 reports of around 25-30 pages each & sell them for $7 each.
I have done so and am ordering 4 new professionally done covers this week for the reports. Covers normally cost between $37 & $67USD, but on the Fiverr site, everything costs $5.00, so I got my last cover there and was very happy with the job (gig) they call it!

So, this week my aim is to get my original book listed on Amazon to sell in it's original form & I will concentrate on getting the 4 reports up & selling over next 2 weeks.

Have to go visit my sis-in-law for a few days, she's had an operation and is gradually getting better, so I'll be away almost all week.

I've been learning how to set up a membership site for
over a year now and it looks like I've found a sweet spot/niche at last.
Mentioned it to one lady yesterday that the site would be ready on 12th Oct & she is joining plus she has some friends who will join too!
So,before I start, I have an affiliate or JV partner who will earn 50% of the Membership monthly fee, every month the Member stays in!

It's to be called "Beginners Internet Marketing School"... a 3-5 year course, like Uni, where they'll learn what I have, but faster, as I'll know how to speed up the slow bits for them. Just getting the site built now.

It's 40 hrs full time each week...geared for absolute real beginners.
People with a bit of experience, will scoot through the lessons each week in under 10 hours, as they have already learned a lot of core basics and only need a path and goal to follow.

It's a well known fact that it takes about 5,000 hours to learn a brand new skill to the level required to replace an average wage...then another 5,000 or so hrs to ramp your skills up to a 6 or 7 figure income.
This stage is when you get paid speaking engagements, do highly priced consulting and others want to join with you to help sell your stuff.
It just goes crazy with the leverage in that second 5,000 hours!

Can you now see how a million dollar day can easily come about?
500 sales of a $2,000 product!

A guy who started at around the same time as me, had his million dollar day last month.
He lives in USA and has a coach and plenty of mentors, had the cash to buy all the tools to get things done faster and better, had the cash to hire technicians etc when he struck glitches, had the support of his film star wife and has no kids etc. The perfect scenario!
He just treated himself to a Porsche or some sort of car like that!
I'm not complaining just stating the fact about using someone else's trodden pathway thru' this jungle!

I'm coming up to 3,500 hours, so I know within the next 6 months or so, I will be earning a good income, which will replace the pension and when it begins to come in, it comes very quickly.
Most research I've done on ambitious people like me, I found that it took about 6 months or so from their first dollars income to reaching over $100 to $1,000 a day!
So, while I'm disappointed my book had some launch day glitches, I'm really glad in a way, as the couple of typos would be out there forever to haunt me! :-)
Plus, it's heaps easier to sell a $7 Report than a $27 book...you get more people on your list that way too!

A blessing in disguise!
Yeayyyy, way to go yet, but it's all happening.

Well,I actually got my book up, onto PayPal and onto the website this week!
Registered a new domain too and transferred my site to it. So now I have a domain website from which to sell my books.

I couldn't believe that the name was still available! So, go there and have a look...
You can buy a copy too. Just click on the Buy Now button & PayPal will look after you. It's a very secure site...it wouldn't even let me buy a copy myself!
It said..."You are attempting to enter the account of the seller/owner of this product. Access denied!"

I'm going to my friends place to get her to buy the first copy, I'll autograph it and if all goes well, the promotion begins!
Through the week a lady personally contacted me via my free MDDQuest site and it turns out she lives 200 mtrs away!. She wanted help with her book, so I went over and helped her...She has a Mac computer, so I had to learn how to work that as well!

Then another local lady also called me to help her with her book the same day. Hers will be pretty sensational I think! Awesome book title and controversial content, but hey...that's what it's all about I guess.
I might even start EBook Classes...Who knows what is in store next week?

So, it's been a busy week this week, lots more to do now though, it's only the beginning!

Busy Week...
Got my first full big book done this week, as I told you a few days ago...
It seems I have Wed and Thursdays off now, to gather my self together, but I see I actually still do work online, but without being stressed, as I know it's my casual days!...

All ready to load to host now.
Will spend this next week getting the sales page, squeeze page, payment buttons etc done, then the week after, promoting it!

Tell you what...An Angel touch is a powerful confidence booster to help you on your way.

I have since learned that I must disconnect myself from the outcome of my goals.
Just know it's going to be successful ("faith without works, is dead"), keep doing what has to be done, knowing it has to work out...some where, somehow, sometime and keep preparing myself and keep moving into the success plane, where it's waiting for me...

My job then, is to do the required, specific set of relevant actions that are required to get the book written, onto the market to be eventually sold.

My part also is not to worry about the ensuing sales, that's out of my hands.
I do my part, "The Universe" does it's bit.

12 Days on From an Angel Touch...

Things are moving along nicely now...
It's very interesting to notice how far off track I seem to have veered over the years
...and I'm the one teaching others to follow their hearts!

I seemed to always love what I was doing at any given time though and that's what stumps me...
Perhaps...no:
I believe now, that everything was all perfectly in order for all that has happened in the past.
I had to gather the experiences and take onboard lessons I could not have learned or been presented with by any other means...all is good.

I have no regrets.
This is the perfect time.

All is as it should be...

Have completed the new book to PDF stage, got the E-Cover back from the graphic artist, and made a preview of the contents to PDF too.
Next, I have to load them both to the Hosting site, set up a sales letter, sales page, payment processor, design a10 part E-course, create both Download and Thank-you pages and write the auto-responder series!

Well, things go differently when "it" begins to happen!
It's been one week since the angel touched me.
I have written a whole book and done 2 edits on it so far.

Have to get some pics for it, then do the type-setting etc, then by Sunday I hope to have it ready to go.
I'll actually get it up for sale first on my blog...Have to do up a whole opt-in, sales page scenario, but that's Ok.
Not sure of a Domain name for the site yet, but that will be revealed soon enough I trust.
That's about it.

Had my head down a lot this week, so that's all I have for you!

Here's What I'm Talking About...

The Future Seems Closer...

Look at what just came into my mail box...

Here's me complaining about how long all this is taking and along comes a World Authority to mentor me into a reality check!

This is the magic that used to happen on a daily basis to me, but it looks like I have been neglectful of always acknowledging it of late! I want the "heavies" to come in and really touch me, lift me up and let me know that I do still matter, or something.

Well, this morning an Angel did come...I am so thankful that I got the Rhema touch I so desperately was seeking. Read the post below this one for how it all happened.

Years ago when my life was magic and everything I touched did really turn to gold (one solicitor I worked with, used to call me a Money Machine...there were no ATM's in those days) and things just happened so easily.

They say not to turn back and long for the past, but when everything you did, really did reap massive rewards, how can one not long with a heavy heart, for those spectacular days full of excitement, dreams coming true, ability to help people all over the place and just be and do whatever you wanted...

Well, to kick that period off in my life, I gave up on my past life of 3 attempted suicides, my husband going off with another woman, being divorced, having 4 little kids under 6 years of age and surrendered to God's healing Power.
A hand literally came down from heaven in amongst all the turmoil and said to me..."Build a House"

That was all.

I went ahead, learned how to build a house by hanging around building sites all day while the kids were at school and lugging the toddlers around with me to Council Chambers and all the places you need to go to learn how to build a house from scratch, yourself.

I mean design it, plan it, do all the sizes for the rooms, find timber, bricks, gyprock, windows etc. for the house and then sort out the load bearing capacity of hardwood compared to softwood beams, room spans, RSJ beams and so on!

After a couple of years of learning the difference between a stick of timber and a stud, I owner-built a beautiful 24sq , 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house...all whilst on the deserted wife's pension, with the pension office telling me how to manage the future sale of it and subsequent building of another new home again.

I sold the first one, took the kids to USA, Canada, and Mexico for 3 months, came back and built a 30sq, 3 level home, painted, tiled, sawed timber, carted bricks, tiled the bathrooms and made a nice profit on that one too.

Then I took the kids on a Pacific Island 2 week cruise, came back, bought a farm in Qld and lived a great life, traveling, building houses and taking the kids everywhere. Then they grew up and left home and seemingly, away went the magic with them!
Everyone at the time said "those houses just fell out of the sky" for you girl ...

So many magical things happened in those 12 years, it became 2nd nature to "expect" it, I guess.

Then, about 20 odd years ago I got a severe attack of Ross River Fever at my brothers funeral (he was a Vietnam vet and died at only 43 yrs of age) and from that time forwards, everything has gone down the tubes for me.

It's only now I can open up about it and how bewildered I feel about my lack of power to achieve. I rack my brain on a daily basis, wondering what changed, what happened, watching the train of life go by without me on board.

I can't believe how much work I have done this past 20 years to end up deeply in debt and seemingly going nowhere fast. Underneath I HAVE to believe my tap roots are going deep into the sub-soil to gather nourishment to sustain me for a wondrous future again...otherwise one can't help asking what is life all about ?

I have SO longed for the hand of God again in/on my life and early this morning I was given that touch of God again.

Anyways...here is what came a few hours after the Angel touched me, to encourage me on my quest...

When Success is Slow, What Can You Do?by Jack Canfield

Pop Quiz: Can success be sped up? Is there an antidote to slow outcomes despite arduous planning and actions taken? What's the secret for seeing huge results right now?!

I get versions of these questions frequently from people who feel frustrated at sluggish progress in their success journey - despite all the know-how and principles they rigorously employ.

Let's get one thing straight...

When we admire someone's success, or even our own, we often focus on the end result and not so much on the effort (and time) that it took to get there. This can cultivate unrealistic expectations, especially the idea that overnight success can happen through careful strategy and an execution of sound advice.

The truth be told, success typically follows a series of little events and achievements that can seem to take an eternity, that include a few disappointments along the way, and that challenge everything about you to the core - your stamina, courage, integrity, and even your willingness to keep going.

If you focus on what's not working, guess what: You're likely coming from a place of aggravation as your mind wraps around all that is wrong.

You may even have negative thoughts like "I'm not good enough," "It will never work," or "Something must be wrong with me."

What this mentally does is engender more of these counter-productive feelings. And given what we know about the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are feeling. So negative experiences, people, and results will beget more negative experience, people, and results. There's not much success in that.

The key is to focus on what IS working.

To do so, I recommend two simple practices: journaling and meditation.

Maintaining a journal (I call it an Evidence Log, Results Journal, or Gratitude Journal) is a great way to steer your attention to the positive and continually renew your vision for yourself.

Start each day with reflections on what you are grateful for in your life (list them out!) and end each day with notes on what went right (again, write them down), however small they may seem.

Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, prayer or meditation.

Meditation can be a powerful tool for arriving at solutions to problems and shifting your attitude so you can attract success sooner rather than later. The magic of meditation is its ability to essentially shut down the outer layer of your judgmental, highly-critical brain and allow your unconscious mind to take over.

This is where you enter a deeper state of inner peace and joy, tapping into a higher level of creativity that will help usher in the results you want. (Don't know how to meditate? Lots of books and materials are available to guide you through this practice. It's easier than you think. )

Let's say you're doing ALL these things, but you still aren't happy with your results...

I'll ask you then, are you taking real ACTION?

You may be taking the actions you are used to taking. But if you keep doing what you've already done, then you'll keep getting what you've always gotten. It's a matter of practicing some new behaviors. Shake things up a bit and see if you can take new actions or modify existing ones.

Remember the Rule of 5.

Every day do five specific things that take you toward your goal. Change up the five actions regularly and be open to feedback so you know when you're off course.

Lastly, I want to remind you about patience.

It's natural to underestimate how long a certain goal can take, especially a profound one. When I set a goal to become a millionaire, the year was 1983. How long did it take? Eleven years. It took time for Chicken Soup for the Soul to hit the bestseller lists. You could say our tenure on the New York Times list was more than a decade in the making. That's a lot of patience for someone who initially wanted overnight success.

So, yes, patience is a virtue. But keep at it, and in no time, you'll be only one week, or one day away from your ultimate success.

Remember... be GRATEFUL, reflect on what IS working and continue to take ACTION!

It's Friday again!

I don't know why people wish for Friday...with a TGIF mentality!

I almost dread Fridays now, as I have to report here on what I've done all week and when you see you haven't made a zillion dollars, it becomes a bit of a drag instead...

Anyways, Let me tell you something quite extraordinary that happened this morning...
(This type of thing used to happen to me almost every day in my "other life", but the past 20 or so years, I have sorely missed these awesome encounters. My life was magic and then for some reason I have never discovered, it just went...maybe it's coming back?)

An Angel touched me this morning, around 3 minutes to 6am.

It is my morning off from the gym (I go on Saturday mornings instead of Fridays now) and I was thinking why things aren't going gang busters for me...I work so hard, am very conscientious and sit here at the computer learning stuff for at least 10 plus hours a day.

Why God, Why isn't something grabbing me that I can work on to earn an income and teach people how?

Then this hand sort of rolled my shoulder over a tad and I had the impression a presence said to me

"Do it for yourself first, then teach it to others"...

I thought about that and what that meant to me was my whole WHY in regards to my internet marketing Quest, was wayyyy off centre.

I was wanting to find and learn a system that I could then teach people that would help them earn a few extra hundred dollars a week/month.
While that has been my driving force for the past umpteen years, now spilling over to the internet era, it obviously was not what was born in my heart from birth to do at this stage, otherwise it would just be happening ever so easily... and it surely is not!

It is a noble thing for sure, but not correct for me at this point in time.

I can see my filters of duty to help and care for people (I was a nurse in my early years) were still driving me on a path that really was not mine to run on at this stage of my life.

Of course that plan I had adopted and was using would never work...as was being evidenced daily in my results.

I am so excited that I have virtually been untangled from my own ropes that I bound myself in.

Wow!

Now I'm off to do my thing, get it highly successful, make bucket loads of cash and THEN go on to teach others how to do the same!

Dohhhh..

This is very important; what has just been revealed to me this morning.

Take note; go check out your own WHY...

Get it in the correct context first...You have been given all the talents you need to fulfill the desires in your heart, just get the WHY correct way round though!

I think it was William Shakespeare? who said..."Nature is not so capricious as to give you a dream in your heart and not provide the wherewithal needed to fulfill it!"

Looking Ahead...

This is a brain bender for sure!

Well, another week has rolled by and the shore line still looks a long way away!

I don't know why, for me, it's just so hard...

It seems the more I have a go at and learn about on the surface, there's a massive trough of information underneath that hardly anyone knows how to teach effectively!

That's where I'm up to now...I'm not confused, just a little miffed that all my hard work in faith towards a product or system has all these surprises hidden within.

I'm glad now that I'm taking a "University" type course approach to this whole online thing and appease myself with the fact that no one in uni earns any (or very little at all) money at their chosen craft until they come out of Uni, complete their course, do a few years on piddly wages & then gradually after 10 years from entering Uni, finally hit the $60,000 plus annual income level!

At least when my 5 years are up I'll be earning a lot more than that!

It's getting very exciting now...
I have learned so much over the past few years, I can now understand programs a lot better.

I learned and successfully did mobile phone marketing last 2 weeks...but that came to a grinding halt after I use my budget of $50 for advertising every 2 weeks!
Have to find another avenue of traffic to get sales.

So, this week whilst waiting, I scurried around hoping to find the holy grail of internet marketing!

I figured it's easy when you know how.

Find a hungry market, give them what they want that makes them happy, then let them buy more stuff from you that makes them happier!

My model is hundreds of the money tap sites all earning a few hundred dollars a month each and my challenge was not just creating the amount of sites needed, but finding out how to keep tabs on the Domains, hosting band width & all that techo stuff.

I think in the next weeks it will all come together & the cash will start rolling in...at long last. Gotta stay positive here!

Then there's SEO... Keywords, Page Rank and more...

Can hardly wait!

Week 2 of My First Paid Campaign

This stuff rocks...well, sort of, is all I can say after the past brain strain week of happenings.

Here's my StickK post for this week, with a bit more added for good measure...pretty awesome news, I reckon.

Well, what a week!
Spent 14hrs a day for 6 days this week, TRYING to get the paid advertising system to run again...the one I got going last week in a couple of hours on my first try.

I tried everything, many times over...followed the rules & zilch each time...nada, nothing happened.
My campaigns were either dis-approved or wouldn't run!

Then I decided to remove all demographic and area targeting limitations & do the exact of what Google said...and it worked!

I got 19 sign ups to my new list in under 2 hours, 1 unsubscribe & 2 unconfirmed.

Next, I checked if any had gone thru to the next stage to sign up for the Coy I'm promoting , so I could be paid for the leads & it looks like none went that far yet, according to my analytics here.

I'm aware that the next stage sign up rate is about 1-4% av, so I would need 25-100 leads to get a sign up for the Company I'm advertising for.
For that particular sign up they pay me from $1.20 to $40 a lead, depending upon which product I select to promote.

Am generating leads for a Company and working smart, I inserted an opt in form in front to collect sign ups to my list first, then let them filter themselves thru' to the Company if they want what the Coy is offering.

Obviously with no Company sign ups...they liked my product I offered them first, much better!
My product was a Free Guide on the difference between Fat & Weight Loss...Which is it you want to lose?

They came from 12 different countries around the world too. Norway, Sweden, USA, UK, Australia, Israel, Singapore etc!
150,000 impressions, 1,000 clicks which is about .67% ratio of clicks from impressions...a bit low...but hey! My ad must have sucked a bit or maybe a lot!

You only get 35 characters to write an add to entice someone to even click on your add, that includes spaces! Talk about Twitter with it's limit of 140 characters...That's a Ben Hur novel compared to this....

Then this number is interesting...I received 1,000 clicks which I paid 5 cents each for & received 19 op-ins!
Way to go...That's just on 2% conversion rate there...Usually this is 1% or so.
Unsubscribes in this type of mobile system ranges from 20-30%!
I've got only 5% at the mo...

So from this so far...(I feel like an election analyst calling the election results or swing, based on 3 votes in one seat being counted!)I could conclude that this is a hair brained way to get leads!

Seriously, I think it's certainly very fast and really easy, once you fathom out the way to get the PPC thing to work. Costs a bit, but at 4 and 5 cents a click, compared to $20 a click with Google Adwords for the same thing to ordinary computers, this is a breeze.

Very exciting for sure!

Now I get to market to those leads.
So I've gotta get on with it!

I think I will consider doing a few more campaigns like this, as each lead virtually cost me $3 each, but potentially are worth $1 each a month.

So my little first try at paid advertising (which I think I prefer, as it's heaps easier...when you sort it out!) has prospects for the future.

If I put 100 people a month into my list...budget restraints prevent me doing more than that at the moment...& market Clickbank products to them & get 2-4 sales at $30 odd dollars every 100 people each month...that's good.

That's how this system works.
Get paid for your leads (if you can), market to those leads, create customers, then add more higher priced products to the sales funnel for them. The real profit only comes at the 2nd or 3rd sale levels.

The idea is to build a list (data base), teach them about the virtues of owning your product, let them buy it from you, then have them buy more products, more often and at higher prices!

Woolies, Coles, Apple, Birch Movie Theatres, Target, Myer, Maccas(would you like chips with that?, the most famous up-sell of all time)... all business does that!

When I have 1,000 people on that particular niche list, that will bring in about $1,000 on average a month...ish of course. That could cost about $250 a 100 people, $2500 for the list of 1,000 and that's even OK. After 2 or 3 months, I'd be in profit, but getting there is the costly challenge.

I guess if I budget $50 a week & cut down on my food & petrol a bit for a couple of months, I could add 20 people a week & start marketing to them & use the sales money to add more people to the list, while still using my budgeted $50 also.

That would certainly speed things up a bit.

I know this is a variation of what I set out to do last week, which was to build traffic to the 20 odd money tap sites I have, just sitting there behind a rock somewhere.

This is something I had to learn and am adapting it to my needs.
This system is constantly proactive until you get your list built up.
The other is virtually passive ongoing once set up with a lot more complexity at the start.

So I'm getting this one site(or more) up to bring in some quick leads to market to and then I'll go back to the others and address them then.

Got a real campaign going for traffic this week.
Wow...

This is my biggest breakthru' yet!
I also learned how to FTP my PDF to my host in one click!
Amazing...

I hated FTP, the way I had been taught as it was cumbersome & needed too many steps & different applications.

This way was shown to me by a friend via Skype.

I asked her to do it for me & she made me a video of how to...then loaded it to You Tube & sent it to me within in 10 minutes & I played the video on one half of my screen & did the work on the other half of the screen & got it up in one click!

Love drag n'drop stuff!

Then I hooked the link to my freebie into my thank-you page & was up & running.

I'd normally done all that thru' Weebly, as it's so easy, but looked a bit messy(the way I did it anyways) & now it's just so neat & like all the Gurus!

Then I initiated my Traffic getting campaign & sat & watched the stat counter all afternoon!
I'm going for Pay per Click & am getting clicks at 4 cents!

This was my StickK report this week.

My goal was 20-30 Tap sites...only got12 plus another 10 or so under way...I guess that's pretty good! Had 3 assistants at various times in the past 3 months of varying skill sets. All is good. Family has had every medical test under the sun these past few weeks... so I'm hopefully fairly free for the next 3 month period to really ramp up the income side from a weeeee dribble...too little to write about, to a raging torrent! Am really looking forwards to the next 3 months, as all the hunting around finding systems, mentors, tools etc has been done & now it's just...SHOW ME THE MONEY!

It's going to need a lot of discipline, late hours and a whole bunch of persistence from me to get it all done...but that's it when you are in this industry, pretty well alone.

My mentors are all online and while that's some direction, I wish I had someone who could just sit with me for a week and short cut all the noise and distractions that I have to filter to find what does work.

I think I'm pretty well organised now...so let's start cooking with cash flows that are significant!

End of an era just happened...

Off to ride a camel, go on a big train journey to visit a very ill family member, stay in a bush cabin overnight that has a fireplace & a spa!

Then back here for a Seminar on Sunday 1st Aug , then full bore into ramping up the money tap sites & cash flow & utilizing my assistants correctly!

Trial By Error!

OMG...another week gone by!

Did a bunch of Michael Gerber stuff this week after I did a lot of interviews.

Found I had my ladder up the right tree, but I ended up out on the wrong limb.

My business mentor said I should do this work first myself & I'm so glad I pushed through and did the 30 follow ups & found this out early.

Very interesting. This is the glue bit that cements a business into the foundations. This is also the bit that just about everyone online misses!

They head straight for the "big kill" and overlook this important step that will usher them into the race track. There really is no other way!

Trust me...I know, I've been searching how to go straight into "running" mode and didn't do the crawling or walking bits.

Everyone beginning online, seems to take the same approach...forget the crawling bit...we know what that's about, it's not necessary and so on!
But unless you actually do action all the crawling steps, you WILL wander around outside the race track, trying everything, every system, tool and idea that comes along, hoping for the magic key...

These past few weeks I have been back to crawling and I am so glad I did, because now I can move forwards faster, clearer, more certain and a whole lot smarter! There's something mechanically magic in the crawling steps.

They say if a baby doesn't crawl it has trouble in later life with maths and problem solving...
Food for thought.

So, now I ended up in the area I love & am so good at, but really didn't think it was a USP.

It is!

So, back to the drawing board now to do a few minor adjustments.

I was panicking a bit at being so slow, but Michael Gerber (E-Myth) to the rescue again. He said to take time setting up systems at the front, as it's so much easier to delegate when you have documented systems in place.

Redid all the website again on Thursday, getting better at being specific, now I know the exact product. I'm quite excited now.

A few more tweaks on the website, register a Domain suited to new business angle, get a squeeze page up, make an intro video & that part is all done.

Next, get some biz cards done for the offline world, complete the price list, product descriptions, affiliate commissions adjusted for price changes that part should all be completed.

Next week, I have a bunch of brand new stuff to do to begin promotions.
Have tested lead generation and what to do when someone wants more info.

I started my new assistant on Monday, but by Wednesday I realized I was on the wrong part of the business, so he's back on standby. Said I'd pay him for 3 days...

He runs a big business, so I'm not worried about him not working!

Am done in now...see you next week.

I'll soon tell you what the biz is about and all the gorey details, but until then, no one knows except my business mentor/adviser!

Hi again...

Gosh, it always seems to be Friday these days!

I am sooo grateful for the StickK commitment journal, which is FREE!

I'm sure it's the biggest contributor to my success thus far in my new beginnings.

Just think, I had a lifetime of great success, then 20 years of the biggest successes, followed by the biggest bomb-outs of all time...

StickK has helped me stay on track and is helping me plot a new path, using skills gained in both the good and bad times.

Plodding along.

Got the balance of the first step done on Monday, the 30 mailouts...Thank Heavens!
Then I could start step 2 on Thursday.

Did that & had a successful outcome & got the first ball rolling.
Got my car oil meter fixed in exchange for my info at my first meeting!
DEAL!

Then today, I cleaned up 80% of step 2 with 2 more successes for that stage and 2 pendings.

All in all, an interesting emotional week.

Have to really check out what's going on inside as this is the stage I used to chop n'change gears in the past.

I'm very aware of the internal head struggle that goes on now...never noticed it before.
Anyways, I'm finding all sorts of things happening to assist me.
Like last night I had a very vivid dream, that could only have one meaning for me.
Push on, push on. It's very slow, it's almost there, but something invisible is holding it back right at the doorstep! Very vivid and clear.

It's like giving birth...really!
Well, I am giving birth to a completely new business, so I guess there is a real enough reference there.

Got my assistants on call for when it gets busy. They are working elsewhere at the moment, just waiting for me to catch up!
I'm a bit slow, but all things new have pathways to forge in our heads first, trial techniques etc, find the one that works, document it, teach it, give it to someone else to do & go forge a new pathway.

In the big 3-5 year plan, things are going great!

Can hardly wait for the floods...of cool cash. No, very, very hard earned cash.
Not that the work is hard...just the disciplines of learning and inventing and trialling of systems, documentation etc.

Another mentor sent me a very powerful piece of info, just as I was about to write my commitment post this week.

I shall ponder it for a few hours and really sort out things now that the Universe knows I'm serious.

This is the info...
One full on focused hour of pure concentrated effort will change your life.
100 hours of the same focused effort, will give ongoing income &
500 hours of the same focused effort will replace your income!

Now, I have the metrics for income replacement on my site here and one thing that makes those figures above different by the power of 10 (ten times more potent) is the fact they are pure focus hours!
Not just time spent on a task!

I went back over this weeks efforts and measured the pure focus time I spent and was more than a bit horrified at what I discovered!

Take out the time wandering around pacing the floor in fear, making cups & cups of tea, running to wherever, being "busy," suffering real agonies of body and mind, fighting off real dragons (in my mind anyways)I added up the pure focused action hours I took and guess what?

Yup, can't tell you the real numbers...I'm too embarrassed, but a rough estimate of another 100 pure focused hours will do more than you can now imagine, if I can hold the focus & not the fears!

Someone said last week...I think it was John Reese, He said Frank Kern's cousin, Trey Smith asked how to make an online income & Frank showed him how & he just did it in a few months, what had taken others years & years!

John said, we estimate far too long a time frame to make an income in this business, so we tend to fill the days with clutter & junk stuff.

Whereas Trey Smith knew nothing other than the fact that all the folk Frank Kern mixed with were making millions of dollars a year & that's what he went out & did too...not in 5 years, but virtually the next year!

Lesson here...Work out the real action steps that the job requires.
Note how long they all really take to do. (Like make a business call to confirm an appointment or to print out a letter, address it and mail it, etc)

Write those times down.
Multiply by how many interviews are needed to create a sale and so on and just do the pure focus stuff & stop stuffing around, making it harder than it needs to be!

A Million Dollar Day?...

Well, it's a lot closer than last week!

Does anyone believe you can have a Million Dollar Day...really? (in sales, that is)

Got the new biz website completed enough, the new Magazine is published and am actually "out the door and on the road", so to speak!...That picture just up there is really a true record of ALL the stuff I've had to learn to do this business and go for my Million Dollar Day Quest!

Went to visit my business adviser on the weekend.
Took the new biz plan, product description, price lists, customer order form, terms & conds, S/P sales & Training Manual etc etc.for review.

Got everything sorted out.

Back on Monday, slipped my hip outa joint & stymied my gym appearances for this week!
Back again for a short burst this am...
I love my gym time. Keeps me supple & energetic.
I think the winter "cabin fever" period is over now. I look forwards to it each year...taking a week or 2 out of my gym life, feeling great, but really missing the gym time.
Just gives my body a rest in the black of winter.
OK, back to biz...
Got my new mag all done & dusted & ready for distribution...8.7 MB tho!
Gotta get it to 1MB if I can...Don't know how.
Have a month until the next one comes out, so I will learn.

Have 30 apps to call by next week, that need my new services, so will be busy.

When I do some & get the sales, I will hire a S/P & then someone to traffic get.

Have the rest of the team on board, waiting to do their bits.
It all depends on me taking the next steps on this million dollars in day journey!

_So, that's where I'm up to now_

It's very interesting what's going on inside my head while I shoot for this rather outrageous goal of "A Million Dollars in a Day".

I find I'm really terrified of the unknown things I have to do to bring this about!

Of course there are unknown things!
I haven't done it this way before...

I made my past 2 fortunes in real estate and selling high end seminars, then I had a 10 year period of doing and not achieving anything and that was a real bummer...yeah...crazy.

And it took loosing everything in 2007-8 to get me to this place now...How cool is the Universe? It so wants you to reach for the stars and not live on your scars, but I can't remember having fears like I'm experiencing now.

I just did it before, those first 2 times and it all worked somehow, but not since I tried to be be successful!

One thing then was...I had no exit plan or real plan after the actual doing bit...hmmmnnnn...
I'm thinking because I had no outcome depending on my actions that I had no fear?
Could it be...???

But this time there's these wretched fears of the unknown or whatever, popping in all the time.

I learned from one of my mentors, how to stare them down and little by little, I'm able to face the fears, analyze what it is that freezes me in my steps and to look upon it as just "doing something".
The Good Lord only knows how and where they all came from.

Actually, I think that is the answer!

Gosh it's good to chat with you and thanks for helping me see this.
The reason I had no fears (I knew of before) was that I didn't know about real goal setting!
I was an accidental success...

Now, I want to be a deliberate success, things ARE very different.

There is sooo much hanging on me achieving these goals, I have gathered my all in a massive effort and commitment to succeed.
I want it so much, I really do. Not just for me, but to change the direction of my family history for the future. I just know I must do this.
I believe I was born to accomplish this particular Quest I'm aiming for.

Looking back on my life, it seems everything has contributed to this point in time, all my learnings, experiences, travels and so on, have built up a repository of knowledge to support me in this Quest.
Of course every fear known to man will emerge in my consciousness!

Now...

I understand what drives me onwards...my WHY
I understand how to go about real goal setting in line with my core values, not some flight of fancy
I understand that things need to be done on a continuing basis to bring myself closer each day
I understand to keep on taking baby steps, daily, inching forwards, past the fear blockages
I understand the danger of "overwhelm", by seeing the big picture only
I understand that the big picture is indeed necessary, but you don't have to know all the HOWs up front, only the End Goal
I understand that every day, the Universe will (and has thus far, pretty amazingly too) supply my needs for the things I have to do each day..."Sufficient to the day are the things thereof!"
I understand there are so many simple things to do almost as a religious ritual that contribute to a massive success!

Where have I been all my life?

A bit of an anti climax this week!

My sister was rushed off to hospital at 2.30am the other night, had some specialist care, an intravenous infusion and came home the next morning.

2 Days later we had to go to the Doctors for new bloodtests and so on and suddenly 2 days later, it's Friday again!

I finished the NAQ for the most important part of the biz this week then got my ABN, GST, BAS, TFN etc all sorted for when I commence operations soon.

These "must do and have" biz end of things are necessary before you commence biz in Australia..

Am also meeting with someone to help as a bit of a biz planner this Weekend to get the final documents, forms and things sorted, so I can get going as soon as possible now.

Have the products, prices, biz plan (of sorts), forms and Govt registration ready.

I saw my accountant re GST and CGT rules, have assistants on standby and am just printing out the prospecting information now.

Then a bit of tidying up of everything next week, get the initial sales copy down pat, fix up the affiliate/sales commissions payment structure and I think that should be it!

While I'm disappointed I'm not further ahead this week....I wanted a sale...it's still progress!

SEO...A Necessary Tool

Last week I mentioned how I had no idea how to apply "SEO" techniques to my sites.

This week, I met an expert, who has just set up her site and is getting 4,000 plus visitors a day from SEO strategies only!

That suddenly made me learn SEO stuff...

That was amazing...

OK, heaps of other things happening this week too.

I see Google has released Caffeine, their new tool to index Tweets and Face Book entries.

That's more my style...thanks Google!

My new online magazine is coming along nicely and should be completed in early July for the first edition to go out.

Here is my SticKk commitment entry for the week.

"Nothing much seems to have been achieved this week but when I check my diary I find I've done heaps!

Put another 4 ads out to hire more assistants next month...got the gist of this now...

The guy I'd like to hire has a team of 7 on standby!
They think they can make my business grow, so we'll see how it goes!

Regarding my goals...

Aim was to get a program that I could believe in that would truly be easy for families to implement, that could earn them extra few hundred dollars a week or month.

Then I found I could also set up a bunch of websites to do the same...only ramp it up a bit to 100 or so...all earning average of $200 a month.

That's 20K a month...

Then, when I started applying the training that comes with the product & it worked so well, I nearly fell off my chair! Within hours, I had my first opt-ins.

Then I decided to get someone to help me do that traffic getting part while I went on to the next part of my plan for my million dollar day!

We hit a temporary snag with the website builder program, which will be back online early July.

So, in the meantime, I put together a business plan, did a couple of websites for a chiropractor & personal trainer friends, interviewed 3 people for my news mag coming out soon, to help promote my new business, did lots of work on learning SEO stuff, link wheels, how long it all takes, requirements for Google's new Caffeine program & have just about completed a new product range, priced it, sorted details for getting it to market & I think that's it!

Getting restructured for taking on the building of a multi million dollar business empire over the next few years.

I have to have an exit plan my mentors told me, so off to the accountant to get that sorted...Capital Gains Tax & all, ya know!

Is SEO Becoming Outdated?

Had a very interesting week as far as learning about optimizing web sites for search engines!

I had to step back for a moment and take a breather as far as my own view point on traffic is concerned, as I'm a believer in Social Media and not up to par on all the SEO crowd that's out there!

They really get into some deep stuff...talking about coding, meta tags, body contextual links and all the optimizing jargon devotees of SEO use.

Using blogs like this where people come and can share this info with their friends, is about my level of optimizing for traffic generation!

There is so much to learn, you really must sort out your preferred traffic generation method and drill down into that, become expert and conquer your method.

There's so much info coming out now, you can suffer real sickness from the symptoms of information overload!
Really!
Gastric upset, sleepless nights, lack of appetite, over eating at the wrong times, disorientation and a bunch of other stress related symptoms from overload. (I know this first hand!)

The biggest emotional drain is caused by the "fear" of being left behind, trying to learn everything about your area/topic before starting out.
This causes more stress, then the old friend...analysis paralysis sets in and 5years later...still no further advanced.

My mini website creator program has a couple of edit buttons missing in vital places, so I have to wait for the programmer to come fix it...maybe a couple of weeks. That's what has set of this spurt of information overload again...not having my routine tasks to do!

Hired the next assistant over the weekend & she did 3 days this week.

The system I'm using to create the 100 mini tap sites has a problem behind the scenes with a few important buttons missing in places.

Just waiting to get them fixed & we'll re-launch the first of the many sites & then begin to get traffic to them.
That then will form the basis of my cash flow future!

Recovered from the tooth extraction & blood poisoning Ok...took until Friday this week tho'...8 days!

Anyways, all is well now.

Am working on creating the footings for my Workshop business for my Quest Day in a few years time.
This is Forwards Planning, as I knowthat I want a million dollars of sales in a day and must know the metrics.

Learned more great info about server crashes, overload, where to go to get the type of server for IM launch days etc...

That's good info, as I am no tech head, but am amazed that some of the gurus aren't aware of the difference this technology can make to their biz.

Extra sales are gained from having fast loading websites & reliable hosting accounts/servers.

What a week!

Started my first assistant and before he finished his first week, he won a scholarship to his University! Good on him. He'd been working hard to support himself, he is doing a Masters in I.T.

That just meant I had to go find another assistant to-day & go train them over the weekend so they can start on Monday...

Got the offending tooth out yesterday & felt OK at the time, but feel absolutely awful to-day.

It could be the poison from the abscess floating around inside me, now it's been broken out of it's "cubby house", where it's been hiding under the roots for ever!

We did get some work done though...I registered some keyword rich domain names, my assistant researched for me, got a whole lot of hiring systems sorted out (which is making it easier to get the new assistant happening faster)and now I feel more confident actually knowing how to do the hiring thing.

Hoping I'll be well enough to go to Brisbane on Tuesday night to see Armand Moran, the father of Internet Marketing.

There's a free seminar on...yes, it probably is a pitch fest...but...the info they give away is so worth it. Plus, to-day, the organisers said they are giving a free DVD to attendees only.

That's fine with me...an off peak train fare, right to the venue doors almost...I can't complain.

What I do at these type of Events is take copious notes, try and get a photo of the presenter with me and mix with people of a like mind...SO GOOD!

It's now Monday morning in Australia, 10.11 am.

It's finally arrived, My big day is here... I finally did it!

I have gone and hired me an assistant on the weekend!

He will be uploading the first of a series of websites, this month, hooking up the described affiliate products to them, researching keyword rich Domains, buying them for me...( using my very, very limited funds Debit Card) and so on.

I have 30 sites all finished, just waiting to be loaded and start driving traffic to them. This all came about by total "accident"!

I have a Membership site which sells this system to members and when I checked everything out to see how good the sites really were, I was amazed at the quality and variety and then I couldn't wait to do it myself!

The aim is to have 100 sites a year, selling various products, each earning from a few dollars up to $800 or so a month, averaging about $200 each.

Multiply that out...$200 X 100 sites = $20,000 a month.

I hope to have at least 50 sites up by Xmas & an income of $10,000 a month clear for December 2010!

Michael Cheyney, a Pommie Internet Marketing Millionaire, said on the week end, that he puts up 3 sites a day x 5 days a week, every year, each doing about a dollar a day! Work that one out!

780 sites a year, every year for the past 5 years....x by 365 days = 284,700 x $1 =$284,700 a year, compounding upon the 5 years previous sites...

Oh, the math! Don't you just love it?

"Am in the middle of hiring my first full time assistant this week.

Have narrowed the field down & am interviewing 6 applicants for the position to-day, via Skype.
Hope to start one of them on Monday.

Their job will be to create traffic to my various new sites after loading them to my Host.

Tooth abscess is gradually receding & the offending tooth will be pulled out on Thursday next.
Hope the blood poisoning abates & all infections clear up.

Funny thing, the dentist said those type of infections are caused by stress!
I said to him, I thought they were caused by indecision...

He said that's what causes stress in the weakest part of the defense system.

Wow! Dentists believing in "the other side" stuff!

OK, it's Gym time...gotta fly & then come back & hire me a helper!

"Leveraging The Power of The Internet"

I commit to:

Taking this knowledge learned the past sessions and upping the ante to having one or 2 aides helping me by the end of this 3 month period.

Next, for the 3 month period, is to have about 20-30 "Income Tap" sites in various niches, each bringing in cash flow, like a tap I can turn on or off at a switch!

The aim is in 12 months to put up 100 sites, each earning from about $50 a month to $500 a month...average about $200 a month.

When you have a hundred, (after dumping poor performers and working on the good ones,) $20,000 a month from a bunch of money Tap sites, sounds good to me!

If the cost to do this is say $2,000 a month and the return on that investment is $20,000...that's a 10 times return...or 1,000% a MONTH return!

Now, that's some serious monthly ROI for sure!

All up front, no crazy bank returns at 4% per year!

The worst that could happen when the sites build up to this number, is you'd break even or if worse than that happens, you'd not invest the initial $2,000 along the way.

Most of it is paid out in retrospect every 2 weeks, so you can pull the plug quickly, at any time and quit a series of sites at any time they aren't producing!

This is an easy way to measure a business opportunity...

Why not have lots of these Tap sites, if it works?

My mentors says...
One System only to begin, learn it, dig down deep into it, master it, become an expert in it, THEN and only then, go and try something else, if you must.

Am a bit "done in" this week!

"Had a nice day at the Resort on Sat with a group of Internet marketing beginners.

Shared great info & helped each other along.
Have had an abscess on a back wisdom tooth all week...couldn't get it out yet...don't like the headaches & stuffed sinuses that come with it either.

Did a lot of research for the next stage of my biz...now that I have my product & a system that works.
Have a first sale coming in now, gotta test all those pathways...but I'm not really wanting to sell that part at the moment, now I know it's great & all working.

Have to test the product my members will receive & that's happening now...
Uploading the 3 click system over the w/e & putting it out via the traffic tutorials & then see how those products sell. Wt loss niches etc.

As soon as this testing period ends next Fri...I'll be learning how to up the ante by taking on someone to do the repetitive stuff I know that works well.

Then I have to add more "tapping sites" to the system & begin to cash cheques.

Then add a Central Hub to feed everyone back to that doesn't opt in so they can mingle.
The back end high ticketed items go in there, I'm told.

My mentors have me going here at 100 mph, but I was pretty crook this week with the abscess making it hard to concentrate.
Hope the potions the Doc gave me will work & all will be caught up next week.

Very happy, even tho' I was off line for half the week.

Got most of the data organized for my real product development for later on in the year & it just keeps getting better all the time.

I'm building a business, not just racing in to throw mud at the walls & hope some sticks!

It's a long process, organizing, strategizing, learning & so on.

This will be very short and sweet to-day.

Finally finished everything days ago, but big old FEAR stepped up again and side swiped me for a few days. I was soo scared about giving out the links, I submitted my fun site to the directories instead!

Honsetly!

Sick, I know.

However, yesterday I worked on what one of my mentors said to do at times like this...

Think of the fear
Acknowledge it.
Think about what would really happen if the worse I feared did eventuate, then go the opposite way and visualize how nice it would feel if it all panned out how I dreamed it would.
Then feel the present moment, nothing is hurting me, smile and keep on thinking about "how nice it would be to..."

Then I submitted the site links to one DIGG, wrote a few posts in the Warrior Forum & as I was signing off for the night, guess what?

Yes, you are correct!

I received my FIRST opt-in before bed time and another 2 opt-ins over night!

It was like the Universe was saying to me...

"Forget the emotional stuff, girl, Just follow the system"

How about that?

I forgot to say, it was only half up!

The first is just an open door site, anyone can come & go on & I'd never know, unless they bought something.

The second one is like the girl at the front desk, getting names of people who are serious & want to get real info & may buy something.

Faced a few more fears, and crushed them asunder...

I forgot in all the excitement about finding my dream product, that I had to do a squeeze page & some freebies to give away!

Spent this last week creating the 4 auto-responses, a 4 part pre-beginning online info guide, a video, a screen capture video, a talking face welcome head (not mine & not used yet) & got it up on Wed night.

Put it out to one place yesterday & got 3 opt ins in the first 12 hours!
I'm stoked, as all that part works.

All I have to do now is get my first sale in this system & I'll be a very happy chappy...again!"

A New Meaning for Live!

Well, it's official...I am now an Internet Marketer, with an awesome product, which I'm very proud to offer to the public!

It's 30th April, my late Mum's birthday...So Mum, I know you're watching out for me...this is for you (& Dad)

My site is live...Yes, all done!

It took another week, as my friend could not find what I'd done to create a wonky button & after almost 2hrs I got him to leave it & I'd just make a new site again.

Got the new one up on Tuesday, but spent the next 2 days trying to get the videos to play...

I loaded & deleted my site umpteen times from my host with no fear! (there weren't any other sites on it, otherwise I wouldn't have been so cocky).

Got it all up & going on Wed night, gave my eyes a rest on Thursday & now to-day, gotta go get traffic!

Did new PayPal payment buttons, added a Pay Dot Com shopping cart for people to also sell my product, got the video code hooked in to the player gear, tested all links etc & it's all good to go!

I decided, from now on, I would outsource the "loading a website" drama now I understand a bit about the code issues, etc & guess what turns up in my permitted e-mails this am?

Yup, you're right...John Reese (OMG, he's sooo cute) telling about outsourcing & how to do it!

He's one of my mentors, along with Jeff Walker, who sent me the info from John Reese!

Help arrived on time again to-day, just when I needed it most. This "Trust The Universe" thing is really working!.

ANZAC Day in Australia...

To-day in Australia, 25th April, we remember those who fought for us in all wars, skirmishes and battles, to give us the wonderful freedom and the awesome country we have. Lest We Forget.

Later this afternoon my teckie friend and I are headed off to meet a group of internet marketers who are writers, content creators, graphics people, website architects, keyword and SEO people.

I'm in Marketers heaven!

My friend is dropping in first to help me with my recalcitrant PayPal button...it still wont sit straight.

Then he's going to show me how to delete the code making it crooked, then show me how to find the video code that goes in my new site, install it all back onto the server, then it's all good to go.

I'll be officially online!

Will then get this blog onto a Domain of my own & see if I can link to outside sites. I got the gym on ok, but nothing else. Maybe they have to be established sites for Google to allow linking.

Will paste my StickK reports in here weekly now too.

"Looking back in here over the past few weeks...I forgot to note to self to basically stop everything I was previously doing up to 25th March, but being carried away with the novel idea of being mentored, I sorta still ran a bit wild with my own ideas of what I thought it meant! OOPs.

Then, I was encouraged again to follow one path when I got back from the Easter break & select the area that would have the biggest impact on my future goals...not just my immediate goals.

I have half completed stuff everywhere that I want to complete, so, again, the choice to stay focused on this one thing ahead for now & get it underway, as this is the major anchor for my future aims.

Not being able to relate my plans clearly, meant I got everything out of order...jumping ahead of myself again. Not to worry, it seems I'm being looked after in spite of myself!

Since locking in my commitment on 25th March, I'm now told it can take up to 4 weeks to create new habit pathways in the brain & accept the new way...I'm in complete agreement with that one!

Here we are, almost 1 month later & I have a site, a squeeze page, autoresponder set up, a few panic attacks, new Hosting a/c, new Domains, an awesome product, a M'ship site...& only have the little things to tidy up now & all should be OK for 8th May...the deadline set for 1 sale from the new system!

Now, it all makes sense. Mentors are good, especially for impulsive creatures like me.

Yup, one happy chappy for sure".

OMG...just how does it all work!

Jeff Walker is one of my mentors & look what I received, to-day from him, just as I'm getting panic attacks (really I am!) about the site launch later to-day...

This whole process of starting up a major new
project like this reminds me of something that I
heard in my mastermind meeting last week... it was
a quick liner that hit me like a bolt of
lightning. This is what it was:

"Give Yourself Permission To Fail"

Often, right when you're at the point of no
return... the point of going "live" with a
project... well, that's the point that you start
to get nervous.

All the last minute details start to loom, and
it's almost like the world is conspiring to stop
your project.

But, if you're honest with yourself, there's often
a big chuck of "fear of failure" thrown in.

As long as a project is not actaully released...
well it can't fail can it? The dream is still
alive. Your project still has the POTENTIAL to
make a million dollars, it still has the POTENTIAL
to change the world...

Lots of people like to hang onto that POTENTIAL so
hard, and they're so scared of that potential not
coming through that they never release their
product, never open the doors of their business.

"Give Yourself Permission To Fail"

The wisdom hidden inside those five words is that
you only fail when you give up... any individual
project might go down in flames. But that's just
part of being an entrepreneur.

Remember that it's OK to lose battles, as long as
you win the war. And the only way to lose the war
is to give up.

The reality is that no entrepreneur is right every
time. There will always be projects, or products,
or even businesses that fail.

But if you are so scared of the INDIVIDUAL
failures that you never actually finish and
release your project... well that's a "big
picture" failure. That's how you lose the war.

The person who said that in my mastermind meeting
last week was Chris Knight... the founder and CEO
of EzineArticles.com.

Chris is one of the most inspirational people I
know... I've had the good fortune to know him for
a decade now - long before he started
EzineArticles. And I've gotten the chance to watch
him build that site from nothing right up to a
huge powerhouse that gets a million unique
visitors a DAY.

There is NO WAY you build a site that gets a
million visitors a day unless you have a lot of
small failures along the way.

It's OK to lose some battles. Just don't lose the
war.

Easy System Almost Launched!

Not much to do now to get the website and squeeze page launched.

Actually, the main website has been up for 3 days now, but I haven't launched it as the opt-in page was not completed and for some reason, I can't link to sites out of here!

All is just about completed on it now and within the next few hours, I should be able to launch them both!

Have to set up the work schedule to get traffic and then begin promoting the site as my mentors say.

Am quite excited too, as I am helping a couple of people with their online journey and one girl in Sydney, has rocketed forth and has completely blown me away with her progress in 2 weeks!

The other person has got their site up & is putting teaching aids on it for online marketers. She is very clever too.

I am JV'ing with a friend I met online and we are creating a new site for marketers to go to for info...again, I can't get this to link...www.makemoneyonlinedu.com is the address.

It also has a forum where you can call in and have a chat, get your questions answered etc.

So, mixing with all these brainiacs has to rub off somewhere!

Easy System for Beginners...

We all need something to get going with!

I needed all the help I could get along the way, as I was totally behind in every area regarding online knowledge & experience.

Zilch...Devoid of any thing online at all!

I was terrified of the internet, as everything disappeared behind the lid of everyone's laptop, therefore...it must be a scam...surely?

Now, speaking of help along the way...look at this picture taken at my gym this morning...

They had a Member Appreciation Breakfast this month for all attendees from 5am onwards!
That's my trainer, Brad, right at the front... (he's really a commando in undercover gear!)
with Ryan, another hunky trainer behind him.

You get a thorough workout with Brad. I have him 2 days a week, another awesome trainer on Thursday for body-blast & a few more gentler trainers for Yoga, Pilates & Tai Chi etc.

That's how good my gym is. They have a Member Appreciation Day once a month with pressies (I received a bottle of bubbles last month) bowls of fruit placed around the gym and various surprises for us.

I go 5 or so times a week for the 6am session & attribute my staying power to the gym mentality I have....Jog to the gym, do 1hr class, row 600mtrs & or do an 8 bay weights circuit, walk to the pool in our complex on the way home, swim 250mtrs, come home, have breakfast and straight onto the computer...

Gym 5 or 6 days a week, computer, 7 days a week from 9am to 10pm ish. That's my life just now. I have to do it like that, as I have a big mountain to climb!

I take the odd day or so break, lots of 2 min breaks from the computer, walk around & get the blood & oxygen going & back and into it again.

So much stuff has happened this last 2 weeks, I can't begin to tell you how exciting it's been!

No, I haven't got my new site done yet or anything awesome like that.

But: almost there!

Everything is just falling into place so well, I'm really more than a bit in awe!

Yes, me!

I'm the super believer in all this stuff & yet, I'm still walking around all day, just feeling so anticipatory, it's almost "sinful"!

I have to keep, that is.

If I don't keep on with my goal by the end of the term (3 months), I have a fee to pay & it goes to a charity I nominate...

Starting Online The Correct Way!

Spent the Easter break with family & had a simply wonderful time.

My son has a 240 acre property in Hidden Pine Valley out the back of beyond in the ranges behind Brisbane & it's beautiful.

No electricity or internet out that far yet.
He gets Solar Power on this week & life should become easier as they have to boil pots of water on the gas burner to bath their 8 month old baby!

We painted the whole outside of the cabin over the weekend break, so now their home really looks like a cedar cabin in the hills!

OK...back to the job here.

In the video course to-day I have to create a story board for a 2 minute video of my choice & make it with about 22 pictures or so & compose a narrative to accompany the pics.

Hmmmmnnn...

Must away to the literal drawing board.

I never knew what a story board was. It's a series of pages you draw a rough out on for your video.
You sketch (roughly) an idea of a pic you want to begin with & write a bit of a description under it & so on, for all 22 pictures.

Then you go & find the exact pictures you want, either from your own files or public domain sites like iStock or such...for free & insert them.

That's the bit we're up to to-day.

In the next few days we add the voice over...WOW, that's going to be FUN!

This last few days of video lessons have been interesting...

The course is 6 weeks long, I think & has daily lessons for that time. We receive our lessons in the middle of the night here in Australia, so are always behind the others, which really doesn't matter at all!

I have buddied up with about 6 or 7 other course enrollees from Eastern Australia & one from NZ & get together on Skype at 8pm at night to chat about the previous days lesson & any hassels we had with it. A sort of "Let those that know, tell those that don't know" type thing!

I like the way the instructor has put the course together... designed especially for newbies to the field of Video Marketing.
An over view first, some observations to note from movies, books etc, then a list of the tools needed, then where to go to download them.

Then he said spend time getting familiar with the tools we hadn't experience yet...

This course will allow me to complete my book I was doing over Xmas. Remember this one I gave you a sneak peek of...

I have to be aware not to loose focus on what my mentor has given me to do this week. This is the danger period!

I could get carried away on the video course & end up off track again, so I have to be very aware of what I do each day.

This weeks mentor instructions were to focus on creating my fist product in my new uncluttered life online!

I have to close in on an area of expertise that I have, one that I would be willing, love to & be able to teach & coach someone to do.
Then I have to get a clear image in my mind of exactly who I want to share this info with.
Next, is to decide on the topic I'm going to own this year & become an expert in.
Define what is my "markets biggest frustration in their life right now?
How can I solve that for them & make their life happier?
How can I deliver that?

So, that's where I got up to in my mentoring & found that I'd have to deliver the teaching by VIDEO!

Back to square ONE again!

It's going to get interesting now, as I will be doing 2 things at once...something I can never remember in my whole life, doing!

Whatever I did, I threw myself into, 110%.

When I was nursing & was swimming in local competitions, I wanted to quit nursing to train for the 1964 Olympics...I was talked out of that.
I wanted to build & own a chicken brooder farm...talked out of leaving nursing again...

I built a house as a deserted wife with 4 kids under 6 yrs old, I was on the pension. Sold the house for a great profit...so decided to be a builder & went on to build a display village of 12 homes in Glenwood Drive in Morayfield in Qld & won 12 Energy Effecient Design Awards for them.
Then I learned about Companies & the Law...so I set up Seminars & brought in Speakers from all over Australia & from USA...and on & on it goes!

So this video thing & the product creation topic selection thing I have to sort out next will be a real challenge for me.

A New Life Begins...

Starting over...

At least I have heaps of knowledge now, know where I'm going, know what I want & know exactly what I'm to do for the next activity.

What more could anyone want?

I have this massive gap in my days now, as there's no e-mails to check out any more!

Talk about a junk mail reader ...(& I "go off" about people reading all the junk mail that comes weekly into their real mail boxes, as if they don't have a life...dooohhhh!)

With that being the case, there's only a few more days left to complete my first round of instructions from my mentor regarding setting the stage for my future business.

This has been an amazing 2 weeks for sure!

So much stuff has been sorted out, cleaned up & put away. I do appreciate the 2 week back off from everything, it gives perspective on your whole life again which is a good thing.

I can't believe how really simple it all has become now that I have a mentor with a proven track record, who knows what to do.

The Aussie Internet Marketer's get together we had on Saturday at the Resort went off well & we brainstormed a few great ideas to work on...have a look here at the video.

Have just joined a local group to buddy each other for an extensive video course I had booked in for a while back. It's all about how to edit video, add sound, add annotations (with links that work), where to advertise them etc!

It won't interfere with my mentors plan for me, as every day I'll be using some of the new skills I will learn in the course.

Decision Made...

Decided NOT to accept the kind offer of the scholarship.

It did involve some fine print of course & I didn't want to be bound to that, due to my prior family commitments.

All is good though, as I've gone through most of my instructions from my mentor for the next few months & feel pretty chuffed with how it's all going now that I resisted temptation to get off track ...yet again!

Bear in mind, my big WHY is that I want to inspire, empower, encourage & teach people to go for their dreams in life.

That's my main why, apart from all my own stuff like paying the bills, travel & lifestyle etc.

Here's my list of instructions to follow...you can follow along from this time forth & copy everything I do if you want to.

I had to defrag my brain & dump virtually everything I'd formulated over the past months as I struggled to make a plan to begin my business online!
It was a heap of various systems badly bunched together!

So enter mentor with a different approach...

Dump everything.
Unsubscribe from everything.
Trust the Universe will deliver what I need when & as it's needed
Have a break for a week or so & take time to dream of my new future
Write out my goals again, not for the biz, but my own personal, family, spiritual, community & financial.
Write out all my fears & face them, by writing out what would happen if the worse case scenario happened?
Add up all my bills & face them & put the total on paper so my brain can compute how to create ways to bring in chunks of money to remove them.
Impress upon my mind that I have the confidence to do what is required to achieve my goals.
Be present, focus each day on to-day & the main ONE activity that needs to be taken to move me closer to the results I want.

So, after a week of relative inactivity, I'm back with the next step in the process, which is selecting my market positioning, market & product.

These are the next important steps to select & drill down to get it right. It could take a week or so & I must be intelligent in this & strategically craft my selections.

What does my(your) life story say I (you)should be teaching people about?
What would you love to teach people about?
What's the topic you're going to own this year & become the expert in?
Who do I want to share this info with?
What are their biggest frustrations in their life right now?
How can I solve those problems to make them happy?
How can I deliver that?

OK, that's 2 weeks work, as I forgot to share the cleansing/defrag part with you before!

Having a mastermind type meeting tomorrow, with a couple of internet marketers I met online, to discuss if there's any way we could form a group to bounce ideas around with etc.
Hope that goes well & we get some great ideas from it..

How many times have you set forth on the journey towards your goals & have heaps of confirmations that you are on the right track?

It's almost spooky how it happens, isn't it?

Well, this is what's happening now as I enter the next stage of my mentoring program.

To-day I had 2 calls from the States where I was offered a scholarship worth $5,000 in live mentoring!

Me...a Scholarship!

WOW!

The guy is young...only 30 something...& has made a lot of money online over the past few years...but what got me about him was he is VERY SMART, he invests his earnings into property!

I saw his adds continually, on the side bar in Google searches & one day a few months ago, I signed up to get his free info.

I had a look over his whole site & found he was a good operator, a very astute investor & bought one of his e-books for $20 or so. I unsubscribed from him too last week!
He had very good info on branding etc so I put it aside for later, after I'd printed & read it.

Next thing I know, I got a call which to-day after another 2 calls, offered me a scholarship for a year, to be MENTORED!

Can you believe that?

Just after I had cleared out all my clutter, removed the negatives out of my life, got prepared to be moving ahead towards my real desires & goals, finding someone to model my self upon, my mentor & bringing all that into clear focus...along comes another mentor offer!

How, how cool is that? I am totally stoked!

The thing here now is to evaluate this opportunity & judge if it's going to be worth the cost in changing tac, now that finally I feel I am moving ahead!

Decisions!
The offer will obviously have strings I'm sure, but it is genuine & would be a great opportunity...even if I have to repay the money...they would have an interest to make me succeed!

What would you do?

Moving On...Confirmations You are on Track...

Had a rather abrupt trip to the hospital at Midnight last night.

My sis, who I am still carer for, had been doing well recovering from liver disease, but took a sudden nauseous & massive blood-pressure headache turn & we raced off to the hospital in the middle of the night.

They eventually gave her a drip & some medication & she was sent home at 7am this morning...so I'm a bit jaded to-day. We had to wait around in hospital corridors for 4hrs before being seen by a doctor.

The hospital was busy with trying to resuscitate a couple of people, there were no beds, my sis had to sit in a wheel chair for those 4 hrs after a nurse gave her an injection upon arrival...all up, a very interesting night!

Before I begin work in earnest, for my own health, I should have a break for a few days & then have a clean break once a week at least for a day, to refresh & renew to stay focused. To sleep all day to-day will be welcomed for sure.

I have just had a thought about when it said about Job's wife being turned into a pillar of salt when she turned around & looked back where she'd just come from.

To me that pillar of salt means a lot of tears...salty ones, regrets, fears, longing for the past, living on your scars....instead of reaching for the stars!

OMG...A pillar of salt could also represent bitterness & anger too, so beware of looking back & longing for a gentle world. Go forth & make your own new gentle world in your own area of influence!

With that in mind, it's off to dream of slaying dragons along the Success Highway.!

Well...
Breathe easily everyone, because this one thing I know...you will NOT succeed in what you TRULY desire in life until you have the *_uts & courage to honestly go for it!

I never realized just how afraid I was to go for what I wanted!

I lost the 2 loves of my life because I was a "woos"...
I suffered immeasurable heartache because of not being game enough to do certain things...
I sat in fear as a mum & wife with 3 young babies one night, when I found my husband's car at his girlfriend's home.

Sooo many times I have allowed fear to hold me back...

Actually, my fears were created by me because I thought the world was a certain way & when that perception was threatened that the world was not the rosy warm & fuzzy thing I thought it to be, I obviously went into meltdown!

That's what comes from being naive!

This has just been pointed out to me...I am a Peter Pan! I never wanted to grow up!

OK...so, the world is both kind & cruel. I had chosen only to see the kind & gentle side, not the harsh realities of life as it sometimes is & I got crushed when I saw it & didn't know how to respond, so my reaction was FEAR!!!

I have been forced to grow up. I don't like what's out there according to TV reports, papers, etc etc. I want to go back to being Peter Pan.

It can't be done. Once a mind has been awakened to a concept, it can never go back.
That's why they say "Ignorance IS Bliss"

So, now armed with my adulthood, a certain business acumen & the internet with it's endless opportunities, I have lots of choices to be able to "make it"!

It is not going to happen for me just because I believe the whole world is good...(which I still do, but now I can distinguish between the good stuff happening to me & the bad stuff & bail on the bad stuff & deal with it as soon as I'm aware).

Peter Pannete has wings, has found Tinkerbell's magic dust & is learning how to sprinkle it wherever I want the magic to appear!

I decided on a mentor to get started with....he is phenomenally successful online & makes over $10,000,000 a year!
Yep, 10 million dollars a year!

How lucky am I to have this expertise at my finger tips...WOW

This afternoon I created the overview for my new way forwards.
Have cleaned out my office, & got my desk all sorted.
Have unsubscribed from EVERYTHING!

Yes, everyone & everything...

Nothing must come between me & my plan.
According to Henry Ford I was so easily taken off track because my goal was not clear enough.

So, on this very rainy Monday afternoon at 2 pm here in Australia, which is 8.30 pm ish on Sunday night in USA, I cut the ties that have bound me to indecision caused by fear!

Have been game enough now to declare my passion...actually, it's more in desperation, as I am getting older by the day & time will not wait!
Have previously established there is a huge market for it.
Decided I do have a very valuable resource which will help people immensely.
It is most definitely needed in the market place.

Next thing is to create a solid plan with a realistic time-line from these templates here.

Nothing else to-day friends until I get that done!

Why am I doing that? It's dumb...

...I am going to commit to finding a real life mentor & let them guide me instead, otherwise every other day I'll be starting over again! Yup, that's it...a real mentor...

Gathering The Courage To Go For It...

There is no path to follow.

There must be a journeys end, a place to get to, a place to go, but where is it?

You can't see it from here now...

There's nothing in sight or on the horizon that gives you a clue of what lies ahead, no rails to run on.

All you have is what you virtually stand up in & yet the call lures you forwards...on...on...onwards...into the unknown.

Aha! That's what it is!

The place of being in fear of the unknown.

If the passion from within is strong, well defined & burns with an unquenchable flame, then this journey will be one of continual excitement.

If the vision is not clear then of course the path ahead will be anticipated with every fear known to man & you will experience them all!

Imagine...You don't know where you're going, don't know why you're going, don't know what you'll get or be when you get to where ever it is that you don't know where you're going to!

No wonder we can't reach our so called "goals"!

Now; one thing I know is... that the Universe flows easily & there is no confusion.

Fear causes confusion.

So look for the path of least resistance, the Flow that the "Yoga type" people talk about.

What is it that I love, do easily, have no great hassles with, could do forever, even in my sleep & while standing on my head?

It's been said it so many times in the last few months I can't believe that I missed it.

Getting back on the track I thought was mine, I posted a few posts in the Warrior Forum over the Week-end & joined a thread of Aussie Warriors...

Hhhhhmmmmnnnn... Should I go for it?

I can't see any money in it at the moment, but my Quest is 3-5 yrs away (minus 3months) & who knows what could happen if I really have the _uts & courage to really do what I feel born to do...be it the 2nd time around!

Can you have 2 or more goes at fulfillment? I feel like I'm stealing someone else's opportunity...

I just SOOOOO love doing this type of stuff though.

Maybe this IS My Destiny... now my kids have gone their own ways?

It comes so easily & just flows out of me & PRESTO...it's all done!

Could it be that simple?

Can I give myself permission to have been blessed in such a massive way; twice in my life?

What Did You want To Be When You "Grew Up"?

Continuing on from the last post...

I guess having a ladder up against the wrong wall is better than having a ladder leading nowhere!

Looking back, so many things were pointing me to my own passions...but because I had accomplished all my original goals...to be a wife & mother...I must have figured it was "over rover" & have just bounced from one circumstance to another over the past 20 years since the kids all left home!

What happens now.. you might well ask!

This has been building up for some time now.

How I wish I could just do it for the money! It just doesn't motivate or inspire me, as I feel I'm out of kilter, in the wrong groove or something.

Don't get me wrong here.

I'm not one of those altruistic souls who bow out of life in fear, who say "I'm not interested in the money" Phooey...of course I am, otherwise I wouldn't be trying to "do it"!

I learned how to screen cast, make & upload a video, do Animoto, build a full 5 page website in under 5 minutes with pics & all...I'm really proud of that one...& a heap of other stuff most people would "sell their in-laws for", but I was still without passion for the whole thing & could find no real lasting peace or drive.

Dave Hardin, an Article Guru & now a dear friend I originally met on an international forum, encouraged me to write.

I did & earned an Ezine Articles mug for writing 25 articles in 70 hours...but I was still empty...What was going on ?

I studied under all the top gurus... The Master Internet Marketer of all time; Frank Kern, Jeff Walker, Mike Filsaime, Mike Dillard, Jay Kubasseck, The million dollar day man, John Reese & a long list of the best of the best...& still no flames of passion were ignited.

How can I find my stuff If I'm to live another 40 or more years? I gotta do it, I've just gotta find it...it's calling me. But I can't seem to understand the language or the signals...What does one do?

I'm sure as he&%$# not going to stay on the aged pension for the next 40 years, so something had better show up & show up FAST!

Finding Your Passion...

I believe we are all designed to provide a legacy to our heirs & community, so it is our duty to find out what it is that we're here to do.

I believe we all have this desire in our bosom from birth.

Now that could be seen as a radical statement, but prove me wrong!

How is it that some kids with no family connections to politics, medicine science or otherwise, KNOW without a doubt, what it is they are going to be when they "grow up" & go ahead with unwavering faith & strength to accomplish it?

I asked my students a while back, what they wanted to be when they "grew up".

You know what...it was so sad. Only one person out of every single person surveyed answered they were actually doing it!

Everyone else was in shock...so was I...not only at the overall reaction of my students, but to my own analysis of what it was I wanted to be when I grew up!

Some came to me later with tears in their eyes, thanking me for reminding them of those childhood dreams.

Why is it that we let those dreams die?

So, here I am now...on the verge of an online career headed in a certain direction that I have seen as beneficial only to be reminded of this to-day.

I have struggled with the technology issues, the whole business model thing & so on, family stuff getting in the way & so on, only to find that all the time I have had my ladder up against the wrong wall! No wonder it all seemed forever confusing & disorientating.

Thanks to Dr John Demartini & his words of wisdom to me, I have been able to take a good look at myself & reconsider my motives to pursue this career path.

New FTC Rules, new 16 & 18 yr old Gurus coming on board, older Gurus moving into fields of great passion where they'll earn millions more dollars annually & heaps more variances on marketing angles & tools...see the Twitter post just back here for instance.

Then go here & have a look at my past months schedules...I must have been out of my tree or the heat had got to me, to think I could achieve all that!

From when I started a month or so ago, the whole world has seemed to change!

This technology revolution will only get faster & more dramatic as time goes on...so how to keep abreast of the pace of change without succumbing to the resultant overwhelm of trying to keep up with it all & stay focused on your own quest?

I found this just now...I wrote it in August (2009)last year, just before I became carer for my sister & had to leave my biz again for a while...

Starting out in any business venture is always both exciting & scary at the same time, then add the dimension of the internet to the equation & you have all the makings of a thriller story!

Exciting; because you know you will be a raging success & can see yourself spending all that freshly earned income & living the internet lifestyle you dream of...

Scary; because it may not come off & you'll be left with egg on your face & a whole lot of explaining to do to family & friends!

The question is "Why do some make it in the internet marketing business & others not?

To those "in the know", it is easy...not so to those eager newbies who honestly don't have a clue about the massive new skill sets they will have to learn to become half proficient enough to replace a regular 40 hr a week income online.

I have spent from around May of 2008 to November 2008, had a family matter to attend to until June 2009 & now back on the computer in earnest again July this year. I have studied under the likes of such Masters as; Frank Kern, Jeff Walker, Ryan Diess, John Reese, Brad Fallon, Jay Kubassek, Mike Dillard, Michael Cheyney, Mike Fillsaime, Russell Brunson & many, many more of the top income earners on the internet, trying to work out a pattern of success to emulate.

I figured a firm, well chosen & informed base would be much better to eventually work from, rather than racing in & ending up all over the place in something I really didn't want to be in & now had a team & was committed to them, but aching inside to follow my passion etc.

Being a total newbie to the internet, let alone Internet Marketing, I had no idea how to send an e-mail when I began last April/May 2008.

The learning curve was humungeous, the hours long & frustrating...one time I remember laying on the floor crying because I couldn't find how to get into a "forum". I didn't even know what a forum was & only did my first Google search in that May that year too. I thought Direct Matches was a dating site & Twitter was a bird site!

No one I knew had any internet skills either, so it was a long & lonely beginning.

As I learned more I found to my great delight & surprise, the outrageous income claims I'd heard about from these marketing giants seemed to add up to be possible, even if they really didn't earn those massive amounts of income. The List, the Product Launches, the One Time Offers, the Upsells, Back End Products, Study Courses, Home Study, Live Seminars, Memberships, Consulting, Coaching & so on appeared a constant in all the Marketing Giants reviewed in one form or another.

I nearly fell off my chair when one of them revealed he charged $2,700 A MONTH for his private membership! Obviously he delivers the goodies, otherwise no one would buy it!

So my research was complete enough for me to make an educated decision as to the income I wanted to earn, my reason WHY I wanted it, how I wanted my internet business to be built, the niche I was passionate about, there was a market of hungry buyers, the tools needed to get up & going, the right mindset & I was ready to begin the journey of my life!

All I seem to be doing for the last few months is trying out new tools!

So many of them...free trials, free software, how to choose?

This week it's a bunch of Twitter tools. Tweet Tank, Tweetdeck & so on.

I attended a webinar yesterday morning on the advantages of using Twitter correctly, after racing home from the gym I just made it.

Also forgot I said I'd help one of my son's move farm to another farm, this week.

So I've virtually knocked my schedule on the head...clean forgot that when I wrote it out yesterday.

That's 2 full days out this week, then another day is out with a Seminar in Brisbane on Thursday.

The last couple of weeks I have been testing the numbers on the Alexa tool you can put on your computer to gauge world wide website popularity.
Last week I gave subscribers to The Poppie Dee Report the numbers on my 3 main sites.

The jury is out on it's effectiveness, as it only measures, so I'm told, sites with the Alexa tool installed on them!

Regardless, I found out something interesting as far as me using it goes... (oops bad English there).

If I don't post to my blogs or main site for a week or so, I slide backwards down their slope!
It's a very good incentive booster for me to post regularly.
I'm gaining knowledge daily about SEO skills needed to move my sites up in organic Search Engine results too...(Bonus, as I intensely dislike SEO & keyword stuff, but I have to learn it to move on, so I can outsource it later.)

OK, for this week I bombed out spectacularly...the heat got to me again...Don't you just hate this getting old deal that's going around?

I also met about 7 new people...all locals from around here on the forums & hope to catch up with them all by Easter at a live event.
Got more sign ups this week.
Had a flurry of traffic to my sites from all over the world...oh gosh...I've got to up my ante now!
Put another tool on my site to analyze where the traffic is coming from, I think it was called Google Analytics? Not sure, but now I'm really very scared!

This stuff really works!

Have to really get my books on site now at long last...
Going down to Brisbane on Thursday evening for a freebie to see Dr John DeMartini...am looking forwards to that! He lives on the massive ship called THE WORLD & travels around the world in The World!

It's an awesome little FREE tool to capture your screen & video it & put it up on You Tube or wherever!

I did this...I can't believe it.

$300 USD for another tool that everyone uses, Camtasia, with a massive learning curve, but this one is press & go!

OK, some minor details need correcting...

The screen size is too big,see how it hangs into the next column? Don't know how to fix that yet!

The sound needs adjusting.

My Laptop microphone did the trick...not too bad really.

Making Videos (even badly) is Easy!

Well, I'm almost sick here, but I did do the video & even though it was easy to make, it's AWFUL...

I made a MP4 out of it too, which I'll try & load here for a few weeks until I get back & take it down & do the corrections!

Well, I tried to load the MP4, but it didn't load...not sure what to do there, but at least it came thru' as the video.

All this techy stuff about hosting videos is yet to be learned.

When I converted the video into MP4 format, I found an editing tool...for only $47.00

But then I also found that Camtasia Studio is the screen capture & edit suite everyone uses, as its just sooo good, (but costs about $300 U$D).

I think I'll wait a bit for that one!

Production has commenced!

Have the basic script outline done & have done a few rehearsals.

Am doing the video now & will upload it ASAP!

Here's the rough outline of the script...

...I need to have a fair idea of what I want to say first & then

create an outline following certain guidelines, allowing a bit of

leeway for the natural ad-libbing that makes it more authentic.

What are my FAB's? List all;

Features, are technical type things about product...write these out in bullet form
Advantages of having/using this product....Speak these...
Benefits it will bring to your life &/or family & why this product will help you... speak these too.

I have just 8-15 seconds to capture your attention...that's all!

Now I can do this by video camera in a 45 second stint or a

2 min video made with a Power Point presentation of 20 slides put together
into a movie format! Just like here!

I think I'll go with the 45 second one to-day, which will be Just like this one.
The other way is a bit beyond me yet!

"In this video I'm going to show you why/how..." is how it will
begin...so let us progress!

Next in this challenge of mine is to make a video!

Next post I have to have made a 2 minute video on a subject of making a video...?

So, if you want to just make an ordinary video, I'll show you how.

I have to write a basic script of what I want to cover, the points, benefits, features & advantages of the...(whatever it is I'm doing).

Then I have to point out what you will gain from having, using, or doing the info I present in the video.

So, I will be a busy beaver for sure.

At last...

I figured out how to get the FREE edition of my first full sized Blogging with Videos E-Book online for my subscribers & also the paid version of the E-Book set up to take payments too!

Wow, this really has been a big week for me.

Using PLR products to help my quest is another "no brainer" tool I have discovered in the last few weeks. Gee whizz, the bundle I bought (for $97) is amazing! There are 4 businesses, websites, adds, banners & all.

For the guys who make them, it probably costs them a couple of hundred dollars per business to construct. Then they put a bundle of 2-4 businesses together & sell them off at $47-$97 for a limit of about 500 or so, packages.

That's so the market doesn't get flooded & this way they protect their future sales to clients like me. I know that he does good work & cares for his reputation. They also know only 2% of people will use them in the first few months!

Yeahy! I'm possibly just one of about 10 people in the world using this product now! That means, you will be amongst the first ever to get this Blogging Video E-BOOK...FREE... if you subscribe over on the right side or here.

Say you had a Pet Shop, we could put up the current months new pet additions on video & mail it out to your data base of subscribers to go check out your blog for more specials. Everyone loves the look of cute, little puppies & kittens!

Or, if you were a Butcher, we could show how to cook a great 3+2 minute steak…Aaaahh, nothing like a good steak…mmmnnn

Or, if you were a Mechanic, we could show how a proper oil change should be done, how the sticker should show what & where it should go etc…

The last poll here on ProBlogger examined a growing trend among bloggers trying to monetize their sites – to sell their own products from their blogs rather than just relying upon advertising and affiliate revenue.

Whether it be by selling an E-Book, training program or some other kind of learning program or whether it is selling one self as a consultant or promoting a product from a business that the blogger owns – more and more bloggers do seem to be exploring this as a way to make money.

The poll results were as follows:

I’ve not run this poll previously so have nothing to compare it to – however my gut feeling on this one is that if conducted even just a year ago the percentages would have been further apart. I suspect in the year ahead we’ll see them grow even closer.

Out of interest I thought I’d compile a list of the types of products and services that people said that they sell in the comments of the poll post. You can see that there’s a lot of variation (it’s actually a really inspiring list to me that illustrates a little of what can be done with a blog!

I'll share this with you, as I believe I have just discovered for myself, the single biggest reason newbies stall in their online quests.

Anyways, this is my observation about this frustrating situation, my take on the whole thing.

I had been trying to do certain things online, like earn an income, build a list... etc etc, but I just couldn't find my way. Then I found out how to build a website in under a half an hour, tabs & all & I was up & running that day!

Then I realized what the hold up is. It's too techy, too hard, all this FTP stuff etc.

The system I use now takes care of all that for me! I "outsource" it, for under $30 for 3 months!
This has cut years off my frustration levels & has shot me straight into income earning pathway in under a month. Less, if it wasn't Xmas holidays!

Therefore I reckon the 2 biggest reasons newbies flounder around in the online mire for so long are these...

1/. They have no Clearly Defined Track to run on & really don't know the full potential of what they are getting into & therefore attempt to use tactics & strategies for more advanced marketers.
Because of this, the one massive road block they hit is... no clear direction...no marketing plan or traffic strategy, they can't progress & they keep on buying this shiny new object & that & so on, secretly hoping the next thing is IT.
This keeps on going until over a period of years, they eventually do "get" it!

2/. The Traffic Thing.
I'll tell you this, if it was possible to get their site online in a day with a clear idea of what they are aiming for & begin getting traffic signing up to their list in the first week, they would have to grow...FAST, really FAST!
Book in for a PPC campaign ($100 with the Coy I was telling you about a few posts back) & that will make you face reality in a flash!

There's nothing much left after this!

It's just tweaking & enhancing, well...sorta.

Since I got my site up just on Xmas/New Yr, I have gone forwards in leaps & bounds.

Gosh, I'm now talking about outsourcing, PPC campaigns, trying to write Reports, Articles, (Done 26 so far!) Publishing a Hard Cover book (coming soon) & a bunch of other stuff that seemed reserved only for the elite marketers.

It all seems so surreal & has moved forwards because to get PPC, I had to have a functioning web site ready to take orders! Otherwise Pay Per Click is useless...Duhhh!

I did the 3 most important plans to get going; business metrics, marketing & traffic.
I got my own WHY sorted out, aligned my passion to meet a profitable market, got the website up, hooked up the Auto Responder System & now I'm getting sign ups, or "Opt-ins" as it's called.

The one big thing I forgot in all the fun I was having was... I had no money getting products on there yet!

This could be the news that will turn my upside down world, right-side up!

Received more info from the PPC company & all is cool.

I asked what happens if no one clicks on my adds in the month?
They can't guarantee people will click...of course, I understood that.

What I meant really was, does it ever happen that a whole month goes by & no one clicks on all the adds I paid for?

It could happen, so my personal account manager tells me, but he has not seen it.
That's not to say it does not happen at times.

I also asked, do I get my money back if it's a dud campaign?

No I don't get a refund! That's where they make a profit.
They set a daily budget at say $3.00 for a $100 monthly campaign & when the clicks are used up, it stops for that day & starts again next day.

The click cost could be 10 cents, depending on how longtail the keyword is or $1.00 or more if it's a popular keyword & they have to bid high for it!

So, with that being said, I'm going to take the risk & sign up this week for the February campaign.

Have to submit my site to them next & they select the keywords (yeahy) & write the adds(yeahy again)!

So, next time I write I may have earned my first dollar from this particular system & that will turn things around for sure!

Just received notification from USA re the PPC info.

I can't believe they can't guarantee I'll get clicks!

They'll charge me, say $100 for my first campaign & do whatever & submit my site to the major Search Engines.

They then can't assure me that the money I'll give them to pay for clicks will be used for clicks, but they'll take it anyways!

So I'm in a quandry...I like the numbers & I want those returns!

Gotta get my quest happening soon...

Don't know what to do now.

So I sent them a reply to-day & asked more questions about the deal.

They are supposed to be one of the best SEO & PPC people in the field, so I obviously have the bull by the horns somewhere.

After that exciting discovery about PPC & the monthly ROI, I can't concentrate properly!

Wow...is all I can say now.

Am waiting until USA opens to-night & it becomes their 9am business hours!

What a long time this past 2 days has been, waiting for a reply to all my questions from the outsourcing Company I wrote to for a quote.

Just imagine, starting with $50-$100. (You don't need much to start a landslide with)

How long would it take to turn that into a sizeable return...ROI, at 50% a month?

On the rule of 72, this would double every 2nd month (6 weeks actually, but it's only calculated at the end of each monthly campaign).

So, I have to go and work out how long $50 will take to turn into $1,000!

Could this be my own gold mine?

Of course, blind Freddy knows that is what business is all about...spending (investing) money for a return.

I'm totally floored by this Blinding Flash of the Obvious!

Say I pay (invest) $50 this month with a PPC campaign...(I would NEVER dare do this myself, far too dangerous, hence the Outsourcing) for selected keywords.

This has just struck me...
I invest $50...I get say 4 sales @ $27 each, that equals $108 return...ROI

Costs of $8 or so to PayPal or the merchant & $100 balance. That's $50 to PPC advertising & $50 profit!

OMG...now I know how the gurus do their ROI math!

Do you have any idea what return that is in a month?

Why didn't someone tell me about ROI, PPC & outsourcing earlier?

Wow, choosing a domain name for your business is huge!

If I go with a niche theme name, I will benefit from keyword searching by future visitors.

If I go with any name, I have to rely on sending info to my list as a means of promo.

Now, the thing I need here is traffic from searching visitors online, so I have to choose wisely.

Oh gosh, I hate keyword research!

Just found a company who will do it all for me...outsourcing, it's called.

One of the books I'll be offering soon will be on outsourcing.

I wish I knew about this when I first started, as I would have chosen certain areas & outsourced other stuff I can't do or HATE to do!
It's so cheap, you really can't afford not to do it.

For instance; why not get this keyword stuff done for you for about $100 a month?

It gives you traffic, & you only need 3 sales a MONTH to break even!

This is really exciting!

Selected my niche...

Researched & chose a sub niche...

Did the keyword research...took days, as I really abhor that part & fall asleep all the time!

Got the squeeze page, pay buttons, terms & conditions etc all ready in Kompozer.

Now all I have to do is to upload it all to Filezilla.

OOOps...I've forgotten to buy a Domain name for the new business site!

Gotta go do that...& get a Hosting Account.

I'm letting my current one expire, as I made such a mess of it when I tried uploading a couple of new sites into a an existing site, not onto the host! ooops...!

It's easier to get a whole new Hosting Company & transfer my sites, when I find out how not to screw up again!

One more article to be approved & I think that's 26 all done! They are all in there somewhere!

Just back from a scheduled visit with my sis to the hospital. All is looking up for her at long last.

My family is jinxed I think.

My daughter staying for 1 or 2 months between Uni assignments, broke her leg since I last spoke to you!

Now it seems we have plastic chairs in the bath & crutches around every corner!

I have to get on with it now,

I have to begin the next Ezine Challenge very soon, or it will get away on me.

100 Articles in 100 days!

Here is my schedule below;

5.30am...Affirmations, 10 thank-you's, write one page full of my goal...written out in 10 words only, lots of times until the page is full!
6am...5 days a week; Gym for an hour...yoga, Tia Chi, Kick Boxing, Circuit, weights etc., then a swim on the way home.
8am. Write blog for day prior.
Write one or two articles for the 100 day challenge & submit.
Write some more autoresponses & line up in the system.
Then do more learning videos & follow that training.

This training now is more of what I want to be able to pass on to others.
It costs a very small amount, once only & really is a good overall snapshot of the whole internet industry.

I have a great belief that I will earn my first money online from this system by the end of the month.

Can't let you know what it is, in case it's too hard for newbies!

BUT...As soon as I figure it out & get those first few dollars coming in, you will hear about it, I can assure you!

I can't believe it!

I submitted 25 articles under my Pen name, Poppie Dee, for their 25 Article Xmas to New Year Challenge & they are nearly all published already!

I also made arrangements with a girl yesterday to trade skills!

I'll do something for her & she'll exchange it for something I want done! It's my first official business outsourcing job.

She is an Aussie & is going to set up a new website for me for my Offline Consulting Business & tidy up my big FTP mess I made when I first started learning how to transfer files a few months ago.

We got on Skype yesterday(free) & she showed me on my computer screen, as she opened up Filezilla & cleaned up my public_html area in my FTP client. And she lives in Adelaide, thousands of miles away!

I was amazed that she did it so quickly & set me up a site page blank area to build my new web site on, in under a minute & I was able to see her do it on my screen. I will add all the writing & details, she will just hook it up, add a theme with side bars etc & tie all the behind the scene stuff together.

I could use the system I'm using now, on my MMDDQ site, but I wanted to have access to both systems if a business wanted an alternative.

The platform I used is an entirely different technique than what we did yesterday.

I prefer the system I use, as it's SO easy for beginners & even professionals, as it's so fast for non techo's like me. Can't screw up with it!

The other system is more for geeky techo's, but both work as efficiently as each other!

Will put all the details of how to do your own very easy sites & blogs on the Tab under More, called Business Builders, as soon as I get caught up.

Back on Track for 2010

Back to work again to-day. Gym at 5.30 am, Swim at 7am, then home, breakfast, shower & back into it for 2010 by 8,30 am.

It's 7.14 pm, Monday evening & I'm still at it. Let's see how long it takes to get my first e-book online & get my first sale from it!

Had some visits to my Wordpress blog from Ezine referrals, but I haven't got an Opt-in form on it yet, so the traffic will be wasted.

Spent the whole day trying to remember how Wordpress works & couldn't find how to pop an opt in form on it...have to call in an expert & outsource the hard bits!

I'm using 3 different website building platforms & Wordpress is 100 times harder to master than Blogger & my website builder here.

I discovered a great little Smiley in the Forum on my site here, So cute!

The challenge is consuming my thoughts & I am grabbing every thought that comes my way & working out ways to incorporate them into articles in the niche I've chosen to write about.

3 More Sleeps & It's New Year!

Had a busy day yesterday, hunting for the day... the day that was!

I have no idea where the day went.

I sat on my bed to do some goal setting for the coming year, after I had a shower & got dressed & I lost the whole day...I didn't fall asleep or even have a drink!

I can't ever remember a time that time went so fast... it simply flew.

Anyways, this is what I came up with for next year.

I finished creating the content & schedules for these programs yesterday too...(Will upload the details in the coming week after I set some dates)

for the 6 Day Event that's coming up later in the year,
for the 2 x 3 Day Events
for the 3 x 2 Day Events
for a one Dayer
for a Free info session

That all sounds complicated, but it isn't really. The Events are all about using online strategies to create many small website incomes to build a Real Estate Portfolio or subsidize other ventures of any size.

Then I updated my own personal goals & put some time frames on them, now they really are appearing over the horizon.

Then I set a new work schedule now that I have unsubscribed from my favorite forum, which really took up my whole day! I can't believe how much time I used up learning things that I appreciate knowing how to do. With the system I'm using now, I can fully understand what processes take place when I upload, download, add links & so on.

I learned heaps of other stuff for later on, but there comes a time to take action & apply what you know & gradually learn the extra as you go!

The other thing is, whatever I do, I do it full on & give my undivided attention to it, if I want to fully comprehend it, so everything else falls by the wayside & some things have to be deliberately culled & that's not always fun!

So, here I am.

I also decided to enter 2 Article writing challenges. (Articles are posted free on Ezine & send you free traffic for years, if you do them correctly).

One is for 25 Articles of 700 words total each article, to be submitted by New Years Day & the other is 100 Articles, same total size each, in 100 days, starting on New Years Day & finishing 100 days later!

The new work schedule now for the next few days is;

Write 15 articles Wednesday, Dec 30th & submit to Ezine Articles
Add one more Autoresponse to the 6 already done for the Poppie Dee Report.
Report to Rico, my USA friend with the broken back. (We help each other stay on track!)
Read 2 reports I bought on how to create a traffic jam to my site using Articles (only 100 pages total).
Began building a new site for the Offline biz I began earlier this year (before I got side tracked with other family stuff) & have been invited to work with a group in Ireland, USA & UK to get it up & going again.
Try & get the PDF started for Biz Plans to upload here.
Get some new printer ink.
Transfer a bunch of data from my old Laptop to this new Laptop.
Send a Power point Presentation of my Offline biz Presentation to Ireland so the team can use it.
Get the prices onto My Million Dollar Day site & ready for my new website for folk who want a website built for them or upgraded or SEO for an existing site.

Gotta go now & get some sleep.

Xmas is over!

Xmas has come & gone & good cheer was spread all around.

No family tussles this year, thank God for his love on them all to consider the whole...the family of 20, so it all went off well!

Lots of gluttony & pudding followed by the usual afternoon swim, then most of the family went home & all was quiet in the house...not a creature was stirring...us remaining were all too tired to move!

Got back on the net for 5 mins to wish a few people a Happy Christmas, ate more pudding & frozen yogurt & went back to the sink & the dishes.

To-day I delivered a few belated presents about 100 klms all up, came home, exchanged some baby clothes for my grandson, had prawns (shrimps) & Moet Champagne for dinner.

I will now officially be back at work in the morning! It's 8pm on Saturday evening in Australia on Boxing Day.

Had a really nice e-mail to-day from a USA friend I met in a forum. He is such a cheery soul even though he has a broken back & his wife has pancreatic cancer.
He is an amazing car sketcher & does pencil sketches for Jay Lenow & others.

All the rest of the family are out in the dining room sitting around the computer checking out family history trees! I can hear everything from here as I do this post.

From here on in I will post in here, as it's easier & quicker to do...courtesy Mr G!

I started this blog to record my progress & obviously there have been many diversions along the way!

I began a new web site like I said I'd been mulling over, got the domain name for it, set up the whole site with the idea of creating a membership site around Easter 2010.

It has a forum in it, where you can chat back & forth with folk interested in making it online too, there is a blog in there, but I'm using this one here, as I love Blogger, it's so user friendly & is on of the LIST of 100 things to learn & do on the new site!

Go have a peek, catch up & see what I've done in the past few weeks...I'm a bit chuffed at myself for being able to get it all up & online, working links & all in such a short time. There is still heaps to do, but you will get the gist of it.

I officially launched it on 18th December 2009. This should bring you up to date with my Quest now, so let the festivities begin!

It's now just 2 days to Christmas & I'm off in the morning to do the shopping.

I'll get the ingredients to make some nice short breads & whip up a fruit cake to crumble & mix with brandy, then mix it into a couple of litres of vanilla ice cream to freeze for a day or two... Yum oh!
Then make two large wine trifles with sponge fingers, strawberry jam, red & green jelly, peaches, custard & cream...& then make...mmmmnnn

To-day I did;

This blog report,
A couple more auto responder reports to go out over the next week,
Added more graphics to the Quest site...there's a great one in there that I think you all could relate to at one time or another!
Sent an accountability report to a forum friend who I correspond with.
What an inspiration...he broke his back a few months ago & is in bed, his wife has pancreatic cancer, he is no chicken, he is an awesome drawer...he sketches cars & racing drivers & is a real trooper, bless him.

I'll get some of his works on here soon. You'll love them! He is sooo good at it.

All the above took 4 hours to do & now as soon as I finish this, I'm off for a few days over Christmas & will be back on either Boxing Day or 27th Dec.

They say it takes 5,000 hrs to become proficient in a trade or skill set like this, enough to earn a living...well, I must be closing in on my 5,000 hrs!

My hours are creeping up & I am getting closer to my million dollar day every forwards action I take.

Wow, Where Has The Time Gone?

I can't believe it's almost 10 weeks since I decided to begin my internet career!

My sister is home from hospital & is doing fine.
She is off the insulin & appears to be improving daily!

She's still afraid she may have a turn & fall to the ground, but she is doing very well, considering.

She's still very wobbly on her feet at times & the heat knocks her (& me) around a lot.

It's our Summer here & it's been around 30=38C daily for a few weeks now...is that about 90F in old temperatures?

We have air con in the lounge area & the main bedroom, so it's a blessing for sure.

My poor car ended up dying a month or so ago, dear little faithful car...

Had to hoof it around for a month in the heat. That was NOT fun!

My darling son to the rescue again...a nice little car arrived on my doorstep the other day, full tank of petrol, registered & insured! God Bless him.

So, as moving, hospital checkups, learning to live together & all manner of things are well under control now, maybe we can get on with some normality of life & hopefully by Xmas we will be settled into a nice routine that suits us both.

Then; back to set up my Quest in earnest ...again!
